Snowbee Top Rod Competition September 5th - Wimbleball Boat

Round 7 of the Snowbee Top Rod was back at Wimbleball high on Exmoor near Brompton Regis.


The day started cool and cloudy with mist on the water and a temperature of 14 degrees. There was a light breeze generally from the East but was variable throughout the day.


By early pm the mist and cloud had lifted and the temperature was up in the low 20's.


12 anglers made the trip and caught a bag of 35 fish.


Average catch 2.9


Average weight 2.4lbs


Best fish of the day went to Chris Bolt of Kingsteignton - 4lbs 5oz


Fish were caught in all areas of the reservoir with the winning bag coming from Ruggs Bay.
